Hello, I’m Tamra - Three Wishes Photography

So this is me, the face behind the camera at Three Wishes Photography. I'm a family, newborn and maternity photographer based in Torquay, and I've been photographing families professionally for over 12 years. But if you want to know a little more about the person behind the camera… here goes.

I’m a mum of three crazy kids and wife to a pretty great guy. Given the choice, I’d hang out with my family in my trackies over getting glammed up and going out any day. I’m not much of a small-talk person — I’d much rather have a proper conversation, even if I’ve only just met you. And I’ll take a few really close friends over a huge circle any day.

I love hearing your stories and learning what makes people tick, where they’ve come from, what they’ve been through and what’s made them who they are today. I want people I come in contact with to feel heard, cared about and valued.

I’m an optimist and a huge believer in appreciating what you have, even when life is hard.

I’m a runner, I love being in nature, and I love quiet and stillness.

Like so many people, I feel awkward in front of the camera and can be my own worst critic when I see photos of myself. That’s exactly why I’m so passionate about creating a relaxed experience where you can stop worrying about how you look and simply enjoy being with your family.

And my superpower? I think it’s making people feel comfortable and at ease — which isn’t a bad superpower to have when you’re a photographer 😂
