Pregnancy can feel long in the moment, but before you know it, your baby is here and your bump is gone. Maternity photography gives you the chance to celebrate the strength, anticipation and beauty of this chapter before it becomes a memory.
I photograph maternity sessions in Torquay, Geelong and across the Surf Coast, either in my Torquay studio or at one of my favourite outdoor locations.
What you need to know
Maternity sessions are relaxed, natural and completely guided by what you feel comfortable with. You don't need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera — I'll guide you throughout your session so you can simply relax and enjoy this little pause before your baby arrives.
Whether you want to be fully clothed, show your bump, use something from my client wardrobe or keep things beautifully simple, we'll create images that feel like you. Partners and children are always welcome too — this is part of their story as much as it is yours.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I generally recommend booking your maternity session for between 34–36 weeks. At this stage your bump is beautifully round, while you're usually still comfortable enough to enjoy your session. If you're expecting multiples or there's a chance your baby may arrive early, we can plan your session a little earlier.

When you book, I'll send you a guide with plenty of advice on what to wear and what photographs well. You'll also have access to my client wardrobe, with beautiful pieces chosen specifically for maternity sessions. And if you're unsure, I'm always happy to help you decide what will work best.

Absolutely. Partners and children are always welcome to be part of your maternity session. We'll capture some photos together as well as plenty of you and your bump, so you have a beautiful record of this time for your whole family.

Maternity sessions can take place in my private Torquay studio or outdoors at one of my favourite locations around Torquay, Geelong and the Surf Coast. If you choose an outdoor session, I'll send you my location guide to help you find somewhere that suits the look and feel you'd love for your photos.

Maternity sessions are 30 minutes. I find this is plenty of time to create a beautiful variety of images without the session feeling long or tiring.
